Has Your Listing Been Removed or Suspended by a Major Retailer or Online Platform?
Retailers and online marketplaces often remove product listings where they have identified a potential safety or compliance related concern. They may have identified the potential concern based on product reviews, product returns, other data, or a notice of violation or letter from the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).
If your product listing has been removed, suspended, or delisted, we may be able to help you navigate a response to the retailer, marketplace, and the CPSC.
Because retailers and online marketplaces have legal responsibilities regarding product safety, they sometimes pro-actively file Section 15 reports to the CPSC about your product alerting them to a potential safety concern, even before notifying your company.
Based on a retailer’s report, the CPSC may then initiate an investigation of a product, even where the information provided by the retailer or online marketplace.
These are complicated and nuanced relationships to navigate in order to get your product relisted and to address any potential safety concerns.
